I'm Sorry, I'm a Pescatarian

So, I decided in July of 2016 that I would change my diet. Ever since then I have been a pescatarian, which means I'm kind of like a vegetarian but I eat fish. Does that make sense? It's been a great change in my opinion. I honestly thought it would be extremely hard, but my will power was pretty high when I first started. And now, I really don't bat an eyelash. I lost and inch and a half off of my waist, which I was super excited about.

But anyway, just wanted to give you all some background before I went into this next post.

I absolutely love Ponce City Market located in Old Fourth Ward. The building holds such history and it amazes me how they revamped it with its many shops, eateries, and not to mention mini golf roof top (Skyline Park; it's so much fun and has the best view of the city).

But anyway, before my lifestyle change I ate beef. I loved beef. Whether it was a filet mignon, a juicy burger from Five Guys , Shake Shack, or Steak and Shake, or even a kosher beef hot dog-- I ate it all. I miss those days.

But it has been fun trying to find alternatives. I had the pleasure of trying a black bean burger that completely blew me away. But on this day, I tried a veggie burger from H&F. It didn't take long for my food to come out. The fries were good alongside their house made ketchup. The burger itself came with a whole wheat bun, crimini mushrooms, barley, brussel sprout slaw, and pepperjack cheese. I was not the biggest fan. The burger kept falling apart and it simply just wasn't that good. If you are a burger lover, I would suggest checking their location out just to see if theu meet you
