For the Love of Happy Socks

I was never one to be particular about the socks I wore. I was wearing the same socks for so long that most of them had holes in them. I hated ankle socks, and no show socks drove me crazy because they would always slide down. I loved fuzzy socks like the next person, but you don't wear those unless you're wearing boots or UGGs. Sometimes I wore my thigh high socks from American Apparel, but that's still just for certain kinds of outfits. I was just never really a sock person.
Once I started working in retail, that all changed. I started working at TjMaxx right after graduating high school. Being able to see all of the product come through right off the truck had so many benefits. I was the first to pick the size small out of a batches of shirts, pants, and dresses. But that's besides the point. One day while unloading the truck, I came across a pair of really cool socks. They were bright, striped, and I had to have them. It didn't take long for me to have several pair floating around. Since it was summer time and I couldn't wait to wear them, I wore them with slides. I mean, that is what every black kid on the Southside was doing.
But anyway, these infamous socks are called "Happy Socks". They came out in the Spring of 2008 and were created by two friends in Sweden. Their socks are sold all over the world. I can understand why because I simply love them, and I cant be the only one. These socks are the cutest, most comfortable socks I have ever slipped my feet into. They are made with high quality combed cotton. They retail for $12 a pair. Of course I have never paid that. Happy Socks range from $2-$4 at any TjMaxx and Marshalls and from $5-$6 at any Nordstrom Rack.
They are great as little gifts. Who wouldn't like a cute pair of socks? I buy them for my love all the time. He has a little collection, but it's not touching mine. Go ahead and snag yourself or a friend a pair!

So many socks, so little time. The picture below are a few pairs that I have picked up in the last week.
